Zakk Wylde Talks Dimebag Darrell Abbott and New BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Album

In a new interview with Joshua Toomey of the Talk Toomey podcast, Zakk Wylde spoke about his close friendship with late PANTERA guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Wylde, who was also a member of Ozzy Osbourne's band, recalled meeting Abbott for the first time and how they quickly became friends. "He was just a great guy," Wylde said. "He was always smiling and always had a positive attitude. He was a true friend, and I miss him every day."
Wylde also talked about his new BLACK LABEL SOCIETY album, "Doom Crew Inc.," which is set to be released on November 26. Wylde said that the album is "a heavy one" and that it's "the most personal album I've ever written." He also revealed that the album features a guest appearance by Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante.
"I'm really excited about this album," Wylde said. "I think it's our best work yet. I can't wait for people to hear it."
