2023 MLB All-Star Rosters Unveiled
American League
The American League All-Star team will be led by Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez, who is making his first appearance in the Midsummer Classic. Joining Alvarez on the team are four other Astros: shortstop Jeremy Peña, second baseman Jose Altuve, outfielder Kyle Tucker, and starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr.
The New York Yankees also have a strong contingent on the AL team, with five players making the squad: outfielder Aaron Judge, shortstop Gleyber Torres, third baseman Josh Donaldson, catcher Jose Trevino, and starting pitcher Gerrit Cole.
Other notable players on the AL team include Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout, Minnesota Twins infielder Luis Arraez, and Boston Red Sox designated hitter Rafael Devers.
National League
The National League All-Star team will be led by Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr., who is making his fourth appearance in the All-Star Game. Joining Acuña on the team are four other Braves: first baseman Matt Olson, second baseman Ozzie Albies, outfielder Michael Harris II, and starting pitcher Spencer Strider.
The Los Angeles Dodgers also have a strong contingent on the NL team, with five players making the squad: outfielder Mookie Betts, infielder Will Smith, catcher Will Smith, starting pitcher Julio UrÃas, and reliever Craig Kimbrel.
Other notable players on the NL team include St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich, and San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr.
